The ONA Foundation and Africa Design Design Award organized Africa Design Days 2015, a unique event honouring a wide range of African designers from different countries including South Africa, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia. This event is a vision for Africa that goes beyond highliting the creative power of talents in the continent; it is an ambitious challenge that seeks to place design at heart of a dynamic progress and consistancy for future projects.
The Ti-Ti Stool collection was born from the sparkle of natural wood and Moroccan crafts, orchestrated by an interior designer passionate about the traditions and the know-how of the Mâalams (Master Craftsmen).
Kanza Ben Cherif has re-revisited the traditional Moroccan stool with "African vibe" colored weaves combined with natural or ecologically colored hues of wood, personalizing each stool by unique patterns and a "Khalkhal" fully accessorized.
